Luxury holidays in Kenya

For the majority of people, luxury holidays in Kenya mean wildlife safaris. However, the country has a lot more to offer than that. It has mountains and deserts, rainforests and coral reefs and the kind of wildlife you’ll struggle to find anywhere else.
A Kenyan safari is an exciting, but daunting prospect – and out of bounds for younger families. We at Personal Travel Advisors want all our clients to have the opportunity to take a holiday in this fascinating region, and will show you the alternatives available.

Keeping safe in Kenya

If you’re worried about your safety in Kenya, provided you book top quality holidays with reliable companies like Personal Travel Advisors, you’ll be perfectly safe.
Unless of course you leave the safety of the safari bus and go exploring on foot!

Where to book luxury holidays in Kenya

Kenya’s wildlife isn’t restricted to the big game reserves; it’s everywhere you look. From the stunning beauty of the Kakamega rainforests, to the scorching desert shores of the aptly named Jade Sea, wildlife and magnificent scenery go hand-in-hand – just make sure you’ve got plenty of memory on your camera.
It’s fair to say that a lot of safari holidays offer little in the way of luxury. That’s not the case when you book with Personal Travel Advisors. Those who want to combine life’s pleasures with the thrills of a big game reserve should book into one of the luxury resorts on the Indian Ocean.
The Marine National Park in Malindi offers snorkelling and underwater safaris, as well as inland excursions in air conditioned coaches. Excursions are available from Mt Kenya National Park to the tribal plains of the Masai Mara – and at the end of it you can still take a cooling dip in the briny.

Luxury holidays on safari

Not all Kenyan safaris are basic. Many offer superb quality holidays in air-conditioned lodges, or on private ranches, and 4X4 jeep safaris for the more adventurous.
For the ultimate in luxury holidays, Naivasha Lake in the Rift Valley is a must. Close to Hell's Gate National Park, accommodation is in country club style resorts, one with its own golf course. The lake offers water sports and relaxation, while the park offers geysers, big game viewing and spectacular rocky hill climbs.
Elsewhere Lake Kakuru has flocks of flamingos, wild panthers, and upmarket lodges on the lake’s cooler slopes.
Amboseli offers full board in exclusive luxury ecolodges, and the chance to wander on foot among the elephants. The magnificent mountain backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro is its crowning glory.
Personal Travel Advisors know that whatever you want to do, Kenya has high quality holidays just for you.
