Malta Holidays
Malta benefits from influences from Africa, Italy and even from Britain, reflecting its place in history and the cultures of its many visitors and past conquerors.
Like many countries in the Mediterranean, Malta has an abundance of beaches, making family holidays or last minute breaks to Malta the perfect way to spend your summer holidays, basking in the warm sunshine on the beach and swimming in the beautiful blue sea.
Malta is actually made up of three different islands, Malta, Comino and Gozo and features a blend of ancient buildings and ruins, quaint restaurants, shopping promenades and glorious beaches and many hotels offer all inclusive holidays in Malta.

What to eat on holidays to Malta
Like many countries in the Mediterranean, Malta’s cuisine contains many elements from other countries, so whether you prefer Italian, Spanish or even English food, you won’t be disappointed. However, Malta does have a unique cuisine of its own that you should sample while you are there. Particular Maltese favourites are Rabbit Stew and Widow’s Soup, which contains either goat’s cheese or sheep cheese.
For a lighter snack you could sample the ‘hobz biz-zejt’, which has Italian traits in that it’s bread and olive oil, but it also contains tomatoes and a filling, usually tuna, garlic or onions.
