About Me

I love to travel and am a specialist in long haul, wildlife and adventure travel and a particular love for Africa. I have worked all over the world in different roles within travel and zoology for 20 years, including time as a tour leader and guide, lodge manager, tour operator, ground handler and travel agent. When I'm not arranging people’s travels, I like to potter in the garden growing my own veggies and tending to the furred and feathered creatures that live with me! I'm a bit of a foodie and my personal holidays usually include a bit of wine tasting and sampling local cuisine!

My Travel Experience

Starting off from a zoology background, my early travels were based on wildlife but an early career as a PA saw me managing endless events and conferences, so a lot of business travel too. I have visited most countries in Europe, mostly by self drive and I even spent a season in the Alps as a chalet maid! I've done road trips through the amazing parks of North America and spent six years travelling through Africa. My favourite places are Malawi and Zambia and some of the most amazing experiences I've done include trekking the Mountain Gorillas, White Water Rafting the Zambezi, micro lighting over South Luangwa in Zambia and seeing the Grand Canyon full of snow!

I specialise locally in honeymoon planning, and I'm available evenings and weekends when the high streets are closed, to meet or speak on the phone in detail about your interests and requirements.
